Not A Moment To Spare

Hi everyone, just needed to take a break for 5 so thought I would share some stress. Just confirmed shipping company to come and pack our things on 17th, 18th and 19th Dec. Our house sale completes on 19th Dec and I'm now in the process of trying to book flights for Xmas day and finding accommodation for the in between time. Need to work quickly to get everything sorted as it all seems to have come together at once. Good news last night, my hubby got offerred a job and has a choice of where he would like to be based, Helensvale, Bundall or Palm Beach all on the Gold Coast, however they asked if he could start on 7th Jan but we're trying to postpone until 21st Jan just to give us some breathing space. Any way I suppose I better get back at it. If anyone can offer any advice, would be much appreciated. Thanks guys, Amanda X

wow your doing well and all before christmas, im totally stressed and got until March/ April. We came to the Gold coast 4 years ago to attend a family wedding and we stayed in plam beach, was lovely but i thought it was quite quiet, we only chose to stay there because my family all live around that area so wanted to be close.

Dont get me wrong i dont like city life but there didnt appear to be very much to do their, people were lovely. we travelled around and did go to Helensvale which we thought was lovely, nice houses and good value, we are luckyish as we often ask my cousin for recommendations on where to live, she use to work in real estate, all the areas are close enough to travel to pacific pines is also a very popular area with good housing.

Hi Tracy, Thanks for your advice. I think Howard would prefer the job in Palm Beach although we may not live there, we are open to any suggestions that are within commutable distance to Palm Beach. Will keep updating as and when.
