Hi All

Yesterday my OH had a 'lunchen' date in London with a bloke - who incidently was a brit but moved to oz XX number of years ago and LOVES it.... and guess what... HE WAS OFFERED a JOB!!!!

not only that, they are paying for our shipment, air tickets etc and they want us there by beginning of FEB 08!!!!

The fact the Qataries haven't issued us with our 'certificate of good conduct' is by the by..... the company will do us a 457 until our proper visa comes through!!!.....

(We have given in to the qataries and have another set of finger prints done.... notorised, attested by home office etc....which i am sure they will only come back and say they 'don't match' again!!!)

but OMG.... we are on our way!!!!!.... regardless!!!!...

exciting stuff!!!

thats great news and you have been waiting so long. enjoy your celebration then you will have to organise the move .we are in the middle of getting quotes from shipping companies and if all goes well with house sale hope to be in perth for new years eve.

You must be absolutely thrilled, but just shows that in spite of those Qataris, it was meant to be for you, & your patience & tenacity certainly paid off in spite of stupid obstacles being thrown in your way... O! & I bet they will find your prints now - the ones you sent them originally....

Seems things are finally starting to progress for so many of us after dragging all these months - our Agent said we could get our visa by end of January!!! Eeeikkk!!!

Oh Min, that is so wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!! I am very happy for you, you have waited so long and had so many obstacles put in your way - obviously this is what was meant to be. As we have said before, patience is a virtue and you have bucketfuls.

How lovely that you can now give the Qataris two fingers(prints).
