Where Are They Now?

Having been on the forum a while now, I was wondering what happened to some of the people that were around when we started our big adventure and who offerred us lots of advise and were instrumental in making PIO what it is today.

I remember Sparky (and do know what happened to her as we're still in touch), but I also remember ABC Diamond (who was the font of all knowledge) and Missiemo - any one know what happened to them or can offer their own blasts from the pasts?

p.s. I Know Cal and Gill were around, and although I didn't know Jo - she was around too - anyone else?

I was only thinking the same thing myself last week, I agree completely, where are they now, where have they all gone, I used to like reading so many people's lines, Tinbasher, The Vicar, Scarletfever, Saint, and a few more. I don't see them here much now, maybe it's just because the web site has become so successful and the posts move on so much quicker now than a few months back. This site is a really well visited and well contributed site by so many of us.

That's a tribute to the success of the site and how much help it has been and continues to be to so many people. It puts my sister's wee site to shame, just 130 members and the vast majority of them don't post anything,

Sad but that's life I guess.

I vividly remember ABC Diamond! He sent pix of "The old Ute" - a grotty looking thing built in the 1940s by the look of it with a sheep in the back - and "The New Ute." The New Ute was in the Designer category.

I almost fell off my chair laughing at the pix!

Hiya ,,ABC i think lived in redland bay and set his own forum up although i dont think he runs it anymore.Lisa (sparky) and clive are live up Redcliffe way and seem to be doing opk.Paula(poeblo) is in ipswich and loving life,not sure about the others but sure hope they are ok ,,,its weird how life moves on ,,,,,

I've been around a while 17 months can remember a few.

I remember choobs and daisy Deeds mainly as was in touch a little with Choobs they are in Hunter Valley was following their blog but they packed in.

Mostly I remember you Ali and I think The Jonzeys were around when I first started.

Never had contact with ABC he was involved in a couple of forums though when I first started looking but disappeared now.

Was going to mention Scoop I thought I had read ages ago they weren't going anymore but just had a look and they were on the site the 18th of this month.

Think I saw missiemo signed in the other day to, things sure do move on fast.

Ye she had a little scotty dog didnt she,im sure she was a single mum and something went wrong so she was putting it off for a while.Hope thats right anyway,,lol,,

I know with me this visa stuff is so bl**dy stressful that i only get short bursts on here now.....as i am trying to sort things out like selling stuff on ebay, and plotting a seige on the Qataries etc.. that sort of stuff!!!!

Also, arn't some of those you mentioned leaving the UK soon.... so much to do and so little time etc....!!!... THAT WILL BE US TOO SOON!!!!!

Yes Scoop was the one with the scotty dog I think she still has it but slightly different, if i remember rightly she is a nurse.

As I say she was on the other day cant make out though if she is going ahead with the move I guess she must be thinking about it as she was online.

I remember her posting to say she didn't want to take away her child from their family i'm sure thats what she said.
