We are just starting out and hope to be in your shoes very soon!

Hubby is a bricklayer and we are applying for a 176 state sponsored visa (goin to Perth) and he will need to do the Vetesses whcih in two stages - we told that the practical whcih you will do in December is the very first one for this new process so you will be one of the guinea pigs please let us know how it all goes - what date is it we will be thinkin of you?

Apparently the practical is only done every other month so we are aiming for the February one (when hubby 40) fingers crossed! Think they are only done in London & Glasgow but not sure if that just for brickies.

We told that hubby will need to build brick walls etc to show he really can do what he says!

Hi, hubby's a bit nervous and there's no one to ask what it's like .
They emailed us to say he is defiantly in for the December practical, dates advised next week but it's between 10th -15th. From February they will assess from London, Birmingham AND Glasgow. Good luck with yours, is a big step out of they way as the visa seems a doddle after that - could be wrong though!
