Sorry to hear your news about house sale.
Just something to think about!
As parents we nurture our kids and tell them to follow their dreams and never give up hope, to keep trying and no problems are too big, that they can't be overcome.

I love my kids too, more than life its self, if we don't go within the next 2 yrs, we will be in the same situ and we have to go through vetassess. My son who's 14 thinks he's getting a monkey when we get there. I know my kids will have a better chance of getting on the proprerty ladder and a life thats back to basics, it's worth a few little white lies xxx

Have you thought of giving your solicitor power of atorney(spelt wrong).
That way you can still come out and leave the sale of the house in the hands of the agent and your solicitor.Thats how we had to do things,its a little stressfull,but heaps better than losing your dream.
Think about it,you just leave all the keys with the agent,and then whenever things go through you solicitor will send your money over.At least that way you dont have to deal with the viewings,as you will be living your dream.
Lynn i read on another site (i think poms in adelaide) some one had bought there buyers smaller house i.e swapped houses, therefore releasing there equity. and speeding up the whole process. Your estate agent might no someone who are wanting to upgrade there little house and can't find a buyer.....just a thought.

Sorry, I just read your post. I agree, its a shame if you abandon the dream cos of a house. Cant you look into perhaps renting it out and then selling when the market is better ?
Well all I wanna do is wish you and your family all the luck in the world for your future!! Im a massive believer in "everything happens for a reason" so who knows maybe this isnt the path you were meant for. On the other hand dont give up on your dreams! You will know in your heart of hearts what your meant to do...loads a love

couldnt you try one of those companies that buy your house off you straight away, i have seen them being advertised on the tv? You probably wont get the asking price but at least you would be living your dream?
