It's Snowing!

What a day it's been up here in Aberdeen! 80mph+ gales, and it's been snowing off and on this evening! Our fence blew down this morning & my bathroom window handle snapped off when I tried to shut it ealier!

Can't wait to get away from the cold crap weather here! (I take it the it doesn't snow in the Gold Coast!!)

I don't mind cold and sunny, but wet windy and grey is 'orrible

Keep you chin up just think this will be your last winter in Scotland. I certainly dont miss the Scottish weather altho its kinda weird here just now hot weather & xmas decorations just dont seem to go together lol.

It doesnt snow but you just swop the snow for the storms. Last week it was hale stoning marbles lol

I know, strange to think that this is probablly our last Scottish winter! My kids love the snow - only because their schools shut if there is more than an inch of snow lying! They were off for about a week last year!

The storms there do look pretty impressive! Had a look at some pictures of lightening bolts hitting buildings! Scarry looking! Do you ever get used to them?

Think I could get used to 27 degrees! If we get home sick I know just the place to go! Saw this bar in Surfers - can't remember exactly what it was called, but it's some sort of ice bar & it's minus 10 degrees or something! You put these big winter coats on before you go in! Don't know why anyone would want to go there actually! The thought of standing outside right now in the freezing cold trying to down a bottle isn't that appealing....well maybe the the bottle part is!

I love the snow just hate the rain and the horrible grey skys . tiles have fallen off my root with the wind over the last couple of days . no wonder people call this the grey country

...you can't beat the 'blue' skies of Aus!...can't deny there were days in the middle of summer that i didn't wish for a cold 'un..that quickly passed but!..it's so weird after having day after day of over 40..then you get a day which is 28 and it's a welcome break...28 in the uk and it's a heatwave!!..i love the sun..

It's 1 degree today! No snow, but FREEZING!!

40 Degrees PingPong! Do you get used to it? Supose you would eventually! Thank goodness fo aircon!

OMG!..1 degree Mags! just a bit on the chilly side then..i'm not sure you ever get use to 40 (even the Aussies!)..you just manage and yes thank crikey for air-con..when i lived there as a kid air-con was only for the more well off..as far as i can remember anyway..but as kids i'm sure you cope so much better!..
