Can anyone tell me things that i ought to pack? things that you cant get out there, or stuff that you miss . my oh keeps on telling me to unpack stuff & get it out there but im sure there must be things that you cannot get! also anyone in the Bunbury area that wants something bringing over let me know, on our way in 3 weeks.
one more thing what are the traditional ways for christmas out there?

We too are emigrating to Bunbury next year, our fact finding trip is in March 2008. I am an Australian Citizen and we are applying for a partner visa for Andy when we get back.Although I cannot help you with your queries, I hope you can keep in touch and help us out as we are complete novices!!Can you recommend a tax consutant as we are worried about capital gains tax on our house profit. Do they take a chunk out of your money in Australia?

I dont know if you are sending a container with your stuff in over to Oz .. but if so I would take extra clothes (cheaper and more choice here!) bedding and towels (MUCH cheaper and a wider variety here) underwear (if you need the quality of M&S) ..and if like me you love books? ..as many as you can afford to but before you go!

Now BEFORE anyone has a go at me ..I KNOW Oz does have ALL these things .... but NOT at the price we can get them here .... I know coz I have checked and double checked when I have been over there.
