Ice pops are icey poles ,a bag of toffees is a bag of lollies ,an A to Z is a refedex,a vest is a singlet,a wog is an italian person, and a stubby is a small beer.Theses are some of the more populars ones i hear or am corrected on,,lol

Someone with ginger hair is called "fantapants".

I apologise to all those that are ginger and this word comes from the mouth of my brother-in-law and I take no blame whatsoever.

I admit to using most words in a normal manner now.

But I cannot bring myself to say G'day or some of the more older phrases such as "ripper".
They seem to be from another time and quite old fashioned now:)

My Aussie mate who has traveled this country most of his life comes out with all sorts of words and sayings though - but it sounds great from him.

When he calls me me his greeting is "Ya whinging Pommie #$%^&**! - apparently quite a compliment from him
