House Sale Fell Through

Slightly gutted this morning. Found out late yesterday afternoon that our buyer has dropped out after nearly 5 months.

I have to say it really isn't a surprise, if anything the surprise is how long its taken to come out!
Felt quite upbeat/positive about it last night thinking of all the plusses. I guess this morning I have that little voice nagging in my head, thinking oh no, what if it delays our plans for going to Aus as we can't sell the house!

Who knows, way too early to tell, you never know whats gonna happen and it all could pan out in our favour. Guess it's back to that dreaded constant house cleaning - oh no!!!!!

Hi sorry to here it fell through. i know how you are feeling. when we first sold our house it fell through 1 week before completion we should have been in oz now. now we have sold again and complete within the next 2 weeks. (fingers crossed) trying to keep the house spotless all the time is a full time job. so my thoughts are with you and hope it does not take to long for you to sell again. rach

Good on ya for keeping positive. Sounds like you had bad vibes about this all along. Hope your next sale goes smoothly (constant cleaning is a pain ain't it!).

Really sorry to hear about the house, it does make you mad when people mess you about fingers crossed the next buyer will be the right one and it will all go smoothly.

Feeling lots of sympathy for you. We are in the middle of the house being sold and are dreading anything going wrong but I guess until you've signed on that dotted line you just can't count on it going through. Good luck with trying to sell it again & keep positive!

SNAP!!! Just been told this morning that our "Buyers" have decided they don't want our house any more so know how you feel.

In a funny way tho its sort of kick started us again. We seem to have been in limbo for so long waiting for them to get their finances in order.

So looks like a drop in the price and back to the Windolene and Mr Sheen for us!!

Ahhh Tracey, really feeling for you here, so sorry to hear you've lost your buyer. It's SO annoying isn't it - is that what your problem was buyer's finances? I still don't know why our buyer has dropped out.
Good luck with your house sale - I see you have your visa so must be doubly annoying for you!

Good luck with the cleaning, I'm going round the house now but needed a break! Its a thankless job!

Snap... well, almost. Our buyers buyer pulled out this morning. Looks like they only put an offer in to give themselves time to decide whether or not they wanted to buy. It annoys me that people mess around with other peoples lives like this. It shouldn't be allowed. (i'm still bitter, just in case you haven't picked up on this!!).

I suppose the good news is that our buyers are still in, but I have just had so many things go wrong since we started this that I could do with a break!! Why is life so difficult??

OMG....fell so sorry for you all.

Were in the same boat as Mandy my problem was they wanted to be in before xmas....reading all your posts makes me want them to sign faster!!!

Surveyor has been this afternoon...were sound and worth the money, so I just hope their buyer is!

you are all having a hard time with your house sales, it really is a cr*p time to try and sell, but house are selling, reading the week-end paper there was a slight upturn in sales in Oct

I just want people viewing.....

1 yes 1 viewing this week end, for goodness sake

we have this week off and we have sorted out the shed and the garage - hardly any arguments

hitting the loft tomorrow,there are boxes up there that went up 19 years ago, hubby wants to take them straight to the tip - but I have to sort through them - you never know.........

how sentimental is this....... ..........

I have insisted on a step ladder coming with us - it is v old battered and covered in paint................ ...............

but I remember where most of the colours went in which house over the years,they have been in my family for as long as I can remember

We will get there in the end, it will happen
