So whilst my OH and I were waiting for our acknowledgement to come in we were wondering what else we could do besides twiddle our thumbs, I suggested frontloading our meds and police checks, seeing as there appears to be a backlog of applications at the moment.
Naturally, with all the umming and ahing that men have to do before they come to a decision we were still at square 1 when we got our acknowledgement at the start of this month. We've only just got our police check form for UK sent off last week and I booked our meds today when, lo and behold, he gets a letter asking to get all this stuff done so they can assess our case accordingly. If all goes well we may very well have a New Year's present in the form of a CO and, fingers crossed, a visa!!
For all you ladies out there with procrastinating hubbies, I'd get started on filling in forms and booking meds cos it might take an age for them to get with it!!
