Our Flights are booked !!
Hi All
We are the Langley family Keith, Natalie, Beth 13 & Frazer 8
We are new to this site and not sure how things work hope we get the hang of it soon !!
I posted a Blog the other day and the only person that answered was my daughter correcting my spelling mistakes !!
We are leaving England for Queensland 31st December so will be seeing in the new year on a plane how cool.
We are not sure where we want to end up so we are going to travel around the sunshine coast and gold coast to get our bearings, we visited in April but it was only for a week not long enough. Maloolaba was lovely but expensive and Buderim
Can anyone help ?
Is there any ice skating rinks around as Beth likes ice skating ?
My OH is in construction (roofing) it would be nice to buy land and build our own house - although reading other entries it seems you need to put roots down a.s.a.p to combat home sickness - any advice ???

welcome! Don't worry about people not replying to the Blogs - that is not really their purpose, they are really just a way to share thoughts rather than a discussion item. I find mine valuable because when I have written something, it is real and I have to accept it myself. If other people find them useful, that is great, but don't worry, we all do love reading them!

congratulations, how much have you paid for your flights???
We are moving to manly, near sydney but we stayed in noosa on the sunshine coast for 5 months 2004, it is my favourite coast line, we loved it there.

You have got the right idea about having a little tour first, have you looked at Real Estate, Property, Land and Homes for Sale, lease and rent - realestate.com.au it gives a good idea of house prices and rentals for all areas,

How many times will you count down the new year???
