...that's spot on..our two eldest boys went to watch the ashes and spend time with family last year in early December and payed £700 each return because they booked very early..we tried to book a couple of weeks ago on a spur of a moment idea to visit at Christmas and for us and our youngest we were quoted between £3000 - £4000 for us all!!..that flew out the window..

Earlier this year my dad was ringing around for flight prices and the agents told him june to august were the cheapest prices ,dec to feb being the most expensive ,,hope this helps a bit
