Brisbane is fine...................Perth is much better though IMHO.

Plenty of work for tinkers over in the west.................. plus we are footy mad state...... ie proper football......not aussie rules type.

Good luck wherever you do end up.

Hi Paul
I really liked the Gold Coast when I had a little look around in the summer. Lovely housing estates, near to the beach so boys would love that, we saw school kids having surfing lessons on the beach at Surfers Paradise and great shopping centres (Robina).
Dont know anything about work or football though and we're off to Sydney in Jan as thats where OH got a job!

Good Luck with TRA.

Sam xx

I have heard that Qld is the area putting the most amount of money into football and from my research offers more competitive junior teams ....sorry Bob. I have 2 boys the same age both footy mad so have done loads of research on this and visited different clubs in Brisbane.

If you like Brisbane there is a suburb called Cleveland and it has a state high school with a football academy attached to the school and there are 2 great football clubs which we looked round while there....Redlands United and Capalaba Bulldogs.

Cant help on the job front hubby not in that trade but if you want to have a look at his website it lets you look in different regions

AllJobs.com.au - Search for Jobs in Australia

To be honest though if you did decide on somewhere else like Perth there are just as many opportunities with sporting clubs and schools with football academys.

Welcome to the world of choosing somewhere to live I have changed my mind so many times its sent me mad
