Lightbulb Manchester Expo

Hi is anyone attending the Manchester Expo at the weekend?? we are going on the Sunday as we fancy settling in Queensland....

If anyone has been before are they really any use i.e. information wise, hoping my OH can get as much info as he needs to help his head with everything that I have been telling him... He is a roofer so looking to see if we can find anything out while we are there and school and visa bits as we have so far only had our initial 'free' consultation and thought we would wait until we had been to the Expo before we did anything further.... It's mad we haven't actually started the process and my head is non stop thinking about Oz day and night it has taken over my wedding head !!! (which could be a good thing) :)

Hi sexkit001
We are going on Saturday. We are hoping to get as much info as poss. Hubby has sat his IELT test as we needed an extra 5 points as he is over 40. Waiting on results. Now getting everything together for TRA. I want it all done now but he's so laid back, just takes his time. We also have 2 boys age 15 an 11 so we need to find out about schools which is a big issue for us as eldest would of taken GCSEs by the time we were lucky enough to go.

Expo letdown

Hi all

Just a quick note to say how dissapointed we were with the Manchester expo. A waste of time and money really. Didn't learn anything new. It was also unbearably hot in there, were they trying to give us an idea as to how hot it gets in OZ?
At least Rachel managed to start her xmas shopping in Manchester!
