Wink Driving lessons in Perth?

Hi guys
Well can anyone tell me what the driving lessons/driving test is like in Perth. I have just failed my driving test for the ****th time (I am such a div) and it looks like I may end up having to have lessons/test in Perth (god help 'em!) So any info would be very much appreciated folks!

Hi Mandy,
I took my driving test in perth (well midland just outside perth) when I was there before for my gap year, I had failed twice in the UK, but passed first time in oz, i found it so much easier, as they don't specify particular moneovures that you have to do,they just give you a real life example e.g this is your friends house, drive away and turn left, pull up on the side of the ride and you realise you've left your purse at your friends house, get back to the previous house in anyway you like. It's good because if you're crap at something (like I was at three point turns) you can avoid them. The lessons were also much cheaper than in the UK and when I went back I could transfer my licence straight across.
I did my test there in 2001 though so things may have changed slightly,
hope this helps a little
Jess

The driving test is very significantly easier than in the UK. I've done and passed both (you had to pass an Australian test also 1998).
Trouble is it shows in the general standard of driving here.
