Just wondering whether anyone made the one way journey in style or whether you're contemplating hiring nice car to chaffeour you to airport??? Thought it might be nice idea, any thoughts?????:)
Err Charlieand I had 17 people follow us to Heathrow...I think they all wanted to make sure we went..It was tearful of course, very hard to do..Looking back it was so very special and worth all the heartache that went with it..It makes me smile when I think of all those people coming to say goodbye..Would do it all again for sure:) At one point before leaving I thought OMG all thos people but it really was the best thing.. Jo x
Dont think i could do all them tears and saying goodbye. Im just going to go quietly then email them all when Im there.

we were going to leave by flying first class then i got a price 30k decided to go pesant class instead i have told every one i know to come to the airport and when they see me stick my a## up at the window they can all kiss it goodbye
My (then) ten-yr old son was desperate for us to go to the airport in a limo...so we did!
He was absolutely made-up...and that our bestest friends were there to see us leave (in a good way!:)). It would have been even cooler had we not stepped out at Heathrow clutching black bin bags (as well as suitcases) because some of our cases had been (erroneously) put in the container the day before!
We travelled by business class...which was the best ! We aren't rich, in case you are wondering, and if I don't get some full-time work soon might have to eat one/both of the kids. (Hard because I'm a vegetarian. And yes, we could eat the dogs first, but we like them!) It was more because we thought it would be a special and memorable way to start our new life. You know, like a total shrugging off of the old. It cost us under 10k and was worth every penny and no matter how many times I could have spent the money since, we don't regret it!*

*1: I haven't sufficient IQ to regret anything!
2: We enjoy life, and don't tend to worry about the 'what ifs?' of the future, 'cos we'll always cope 'cos we love each other. (Aaah, puke!)
