In all honesty its dosnt carry the best reputation regarding living there,its very built up with lots and lots of shops,houses should be pretty reasonable would imagine $260,000 upwards,there is alot of flat/apartment style living and smaller land plots like the UK.I would personally live in a nearby suburb such as Boronia Heights ,hillcrest etc .If you want acerage or a 'posher' standard of living try Park Ridge or Greenbank,all of these suburbs are within 5 or 10 min of Browns Plains.Avoid Logan Centre,Kingston etc as these seem to have a higher crime rate.Obviously if you didnt have transport Browns Plains is walk to everything and remember the Oz ''rough'' is nowere near as bad as the Uk'rough',,feel free to pm me for any info,,have a look at
