Just thought I would tell you about my day as I'm a caring, sharing type of person.
We had our medicals today and whilst it was really nothing to worry about, I took myself to a previously undiscovered level of stress !
As we pulled up in the car 45 minutes early in Manchester (our appointment was 8.30am), I checked over the forms and suddenly thought OMG we are meant to bring our urine samples with us because it says on the form to hand them in when you arrive.
So instead of going to find a Starbucks for a relaxing coffee we ended up tramping around Mcr trying to find a chemist that would sell us sample bottles. Eventually found 1, and after he had handed out the daily doses of methadone to the druggies, we bought 2 bottles and a empty tablet bottle (was all they had and charged me £4 for the privilege!). Anyway, we went to Starbucks on the way back to the doctors as we needed to use the toilets !!
After I made the girls cry demanding that they fill the bottles, we gave up and went to the appointment empty handed. We walked into the reception and they proceeded to hand us 4 lovely big bottles with names beautifully already written on !! Absolutely typical !!
Sums up my week really !!
