G'day folks - sorry couldnt help it.........

I'm in trouble..................OH needs to get his certs certified and i have lost our marriage certificate. I have rang registry office etc but have to get it from the vicar but i'm annoyed cos i know its amongst all the junk i hide in the drawers so i'm off to hunt it out..................or try..........

How could you loose your marriage certificate, thats terrible ???????? Im shocked !!!!!!!!! Bad wifey !!!!
If I tell you that I lost, I mean mislaid, two of my kids birth certificates would that make you feel any better ??????? Bad Mummy !!!!!!!!
But we requested them on-line and I thought you could do they same with marriage certificates too............. obviously not !!!

Dear Helz,

You can apply for your marriage certificate online through a variety of agencies. I'm an expert having just ordered and received my mother-in-laws two marriage certificates and my husband's birth certificate. I used Registration Services - Certificate Ordering Service and paid the £26 to expedite. Have to say birth certificate arrived within 3 days but marriage certificate took about 5. Certainly cheaper to locate it but I'd consider the online ordering while your looking! Your guaranteed to find it after forking out £26! Good Luck!

i had to have birthcerts done only cost £7 from registras and if you can get to the vicar he wont charge two much not sure how much but cheaper than online but keep looking you know what us wifies are like to put things in a safe place and so safe we never find them

After looking through drawers, bottom of my wardrobe - which i might add is like an aladdins cave, ended up looking through photographs of when i was at uni, growing up and random stuff - but no luck! Then thought back to when i last used it..........was when i needed to change my name on my passport so scoured through boxes of paperwork (boxes that hide things!) and guess what...............YES i found it!!!!!!!

Am so relieved so now can get everything certified tomorrow and get that damned TRA in the post

I'm going to have a drink now...............

PS: i also realise that i have a lot of chucking out to do.......

told you us wifes put things in a safe place we know in the back of our busy heads where

just takes a bit of time to remember

I know we do!! but i know it'll get worse when we have to sell the house, look for stuff for the dog...........and as my OH says i either chuck stuff or out of hide things............i'm just being efficient!!

now wheres my btl of becks..........
