Just become senior member!!!Anyway just a quickie,(not that my posts are usually that !!)
I have just put another post in answer to someone about their dogs but just to repeat, Our dogs second blood test was a great pass so after a couple of weeks of pure stress it was on to the next, 48/96 hour vet cert then pets on move picked them up sunday at 1.00 for flight sunday night, heard monday morning they didn't go a Baily our gsd started to chew the wire mesh and made a hole, BA refused to take them, new reinforced cage delivered and rush to get them out Monday night before the cert ran out, as far as I know they were on the plane and I will check with Sydney wed night. What a stress it has been moving the dogs....good luck to anyone doing it.
Paul is loving it out in mooloolaba and is missing us all and can't wait until we get there, next wed. We are missing him too but to be honest it has been so busy with the kids with school plays (of which i cried), disco, barbies and leaving parties for them. We have also been to loads of friends houses for meals, sleeps, barbies etc as they all want to see us before we go which is great but we are really tired.
I am trying to do the last of the paperwork for the bills etc, and we have been at my mum and dads for 2 weeks now, and there is alot of backwards and forwards in the car to school etc.
The kids last assembly is on Friday and it will be a real tearjerker, as Joe who's last year it is there anyway, is reading something he has written about leaving his friends and moving to oz, (as if it wasn't going to be bad enough already !!!)
Anyway we will all be pleased when we get on the plane and then can start to get really excited, because although it was exciting a few months ago, now it is so close it is just really hectic and emotional.
Can't wait to go though.
Glad the dogs have enventually started their travels Yvonne. You're post brought back memories as this time last year Alex left primary school and we had the last assembly, leavers service etc., and it was lovely but awfully emotional. Good luck getting through the last bit - something good awaits at the other end!!
