I've been a temporary receptionist at a local high school for the last 3 months and today they have offered me a permanent post. Whilst this is great, means I get time off when my kids are on hols, it did make me feel rather guilty as I haven't said anything about wanting to emigrate (hopefully within next 2 years). I know its a couple of years away and anything could happen in this time but still feel a bit dishonest, just the way I am. Did anybody else have a guilt trip over something like this?
Hi, I started my job about 6 months ago knowing that we would applying soon and probably emigrating (if all went well) within a couple of years. I had a slight twang of guilt but not enough to stop me taking the job! You should just accept the job and enjoy it for however long you are there!!

Will probably take the job, just got sort out start time, but having school hols off is a dream job as I have no one to mind my two and holiday clubs cost a fortune.
Got summink similar for you Macd, how would you feel having your roof, done knowing that your paying the guy all that money, an he may not even be here next year, 'pretending that your not going at all', well would ya!!!!!!!!

Er, Well in a nut shell, yes Kdal, i mean if i tell too many people an it gets around that i might be disappearing, then i'm gonna have NO work to do am i, everyone like's to know that if something goes wrong, your only on the end of the phone, so to speak.
