I am only a fairly new member but I love the site but what has pi**ed me off tonite is the fact that we all are genuine here, we are either applying for visas or have arrived here, the last thing we want to hear is the negativity from Aldo !!!! Some like me have been lucky to arrive with our whole family entact - others, the circumstances are different, how dare the likes of you ALDO insinuate other peoples lives, you are obviously a very sad person and somebody we DO NOT WELCOME IN OZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with you. Just sounds nasty and unacceptable! We all have a different path to Oz, maybe with or without our partners, the last thing we want to hear is comments from wan*ers like him !!!!!!!!! Do you agree ?????????????????
Now i'm not one to upset the apple cart, but I think Aldo was trying not very well to be funny, although it has back fired. When you see some of the banter that goes on I suspect he was trying to join in, although that was not the thread to be doing it.
I am in no way sticking up for or defending anyone, but to say he is a w****r is a bit harsh and to start a thread about him.
I am now cringing as to the backlash I may get about this, but he is probably not very happy about what he said either tactless I accept he was, i'm not sure he was deliberately trying to offend anyone. Everyone says something that they think oh crap.
Things have definately changed in the year I have been on here and I sometimes take a sharp intake of breath at some of the stuff that is written, but lets not all come down to that level.
The person I know that was offended should be and rightly so and her follow up to his remark was spot on, but now it is descending into a slanging match.
I am not so sure she would want that.

No as i said, also in the other post, i'm not sticking up for HIM HER THEM, nor do i condone what was said, but if you let them breath an get back online, lets see if they appologise before finding the nearest hanging tree.

Not being funny wardy but the most important people in my life are my kids and my hubby !! The most trying time in any partnership is when you are away from each other and the last thing you want to hear ( whether sarcastic or not ) is that other people think ur other half may be playing away!!! I may be old fashioned bit that sort of sarcasism or however you spell it does not not wash with me. !!! HAVE SOME FEELINGS - WOULD HATE TO BE YOUR MISSES ALDO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys.....Yes it upsets me that something like this has been written, joking or not, Lynne is thousands of miles away from her husband, and was obviously itching to tell somebody her good news....Lynne is the most caring, bubbliest and funny girl here...I have had tough times and she has talked through them with me, always managing to make me smile...
Some people, feel the need to stick a boot in, or joke..But I say let them...Some people get a kick out of trying to upset people, I am not saying he has done this to upset but its a bit of a sick thing to do
Lynne knows I am sure that he isnt important in the grand scheme of things...
Please dont get upset, its done, we cant take it back...Yes as a mod I can remove, but in fairness I feel that Tim should be the one to remove it...
