wacky warehouse !!!!
for all you guys already here and suffering from the cold ,and for anyone on their way with kids in tow,i just thought id tell you about this Fun Factory i visited today,,owned by a fellow pom ive gotta say its great,,not expensive,food fantastic and freshly made,loads of different stuff for the kids to do ,its not just aimed at toddlers like most of the wackys in the uk,kept 4 ,8yr olds entertained for ages.They also have friday night disco's and coffee mornings ,its called WRIGGLE IT and is on Kingston Rd at Logan central.Definately worth a visit for anyone with bored kids.

Any chance they will let a few older ones in? i.e. 40+ :) grown up sessions only (dont wanna hurt the little uns) as its sounds far too much fun for youngsters only!

p.s. Just like Jean (OldiesRUs) says in other post - at least its freezing for you in winter, its bl**dy summer here, rained every day for about a month now and temperature not gone over 18c!

i was very niave i think when in the Uk as i really didnt expect it to be this cold,and never in a million years did i think id be visiting an indoor play area but a few pommys ive spoken to were caught out exactly the same,,hubby has come around to my way of thinking (or freezing!) and has said we can buy a wood heater,fire thingy ,,only trouble is snakes love wood piles !!I cant win ,,so ive gotta decide dressing gown or snakes??????
Think dressing gown and luvly cosy fluffy socks then!
Is it freezing because your body becomes used to much warmer temperatures in general or freezing a la UK?
l have a daily weather forecast on my internet homepage covering Brissie and Gold Coast (gets updated for day and nightime) but l wonder if they reflect true picture.
Can anyone advise whether they have these sort of indoor play centres in and around Melbourne, my 2year old absolutley loves them, we're off to Mr Clowns fun zone this afternoon. Nothing much else to do in this bloody weather!
