Hi Guy's It's been a month since I was on site, but I've just got back from 3 weeks down under. (Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne) I didn't bother posting anything when I was down there, too busy looking around and trying to take it all in. I was in a bit of a confused state of mind to be honest and wasn't impressed with a lot of what I saw and learned.
That said it's still a place that facinates me, even intrigues me. I don't want to just put one big big long post on about my thoughts, and was wondering if it would be OK to put a series of posts about different points. Perhaps one of the moderators for the site will confirm if this is OK. I'm not one to want to push my opinion or thoughts onto anyone, and would never be cheeky enough to think my view is correct, its just an opinion, so if some of the thought's I want to share seem negative I apologise, and who knows maybe anyone who reads them and replies to them could respond and maybe make me think again or change my mind.
By the way you may recall me having a moan before I went away about not receiving an acknowledgement to our visa application. Well as luck should have it, an acknowledgement was received 24th April just 3 days after going away. (Sods law) It took 2 months 10 days to be acknowledged. So now at least our medicals are sent to Sydney with a case reference number and our Police checks personally delivered to Adelaide. Question is now, if we get the visa, will we take it up or bottle out??
I would love to hear your opinion on your trip Down Under! Having never been to Oz and wanting to emigrate to Melbourne it would be a great insight to listen to your views.

Hope you enjoyed your reccie & glad youve got your acknowledgemt, so it should be toooooooo long now!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow, perhaps you could do a little write up/post of each place you've visited, under the individual sections ie. Talk about Victoria.................. etc., etc.
We're heading for Melbourne, so would be very interested to read your honest, yes honest opinion!!!!!!!!

Hiya..I am sure I speak for the Mods here and say OF COURSE....Write whatever you want here..that is why we are here, we need to know the bad along with the good...I too cant wait to read about your vacation...If you dont want to take up space here then like Dan says I started a kinda diary in Chewin The Fat...It helps me to write things down and it doesnt take up too much space in the rest of the forum...But really feel free to write it wherever you feel it would be best suited..
