Please help to prevent me from committing a murder!!!!

Hi All

My bloody little RAT of a dole-bludging neighbour has now got me by the wick. This liitle swine is "On The Sick." Despite being far too "sick" to get a job, apparently he is not too sick to repaint my house for me at a cost of £250 per room for his time.

He tells me that he is a "Professional Semi-Skilled Painter & Decorator." I would have thought that "professional" and "semi-skilled" are mutually exclusive terms?

This little bastard is up to something for sure. So far, I have managed to control my patience enough to say sweetly, "I will think about your idea. I cannot think whilst you are on the doorstep, plainly. Please leave it with me."

My instinct is not to call the dozy, lazy UK "Police."

Right at the minute, I feel more inclined to call in the local Hit Squad in Southampton and say, "Guys, could you please organise a pair of lead-lined wellies for this little so and so?"

Gill

How have you managed to stop yourself reporting him Gill?

This sort of person really hacks me off. Perhaps by offering to do a job for you he thinks you might turn a blind eye to his scrounging.

Only call the hit squad if they can guarantee a slow and painful job!

Angry Ive got a neighbour like that too........................

Oooo Gill....... Dont muder him (unless you know you wont get caught!!!!!!!!)
If you do get a hit squad, once they have bumped your neighbour off then they can come and bump my poorly neighbour too!!!!
He has a very, very bad back........ when he picks the kids up from school he can hardly walk, poor thing. His house backs onto the bottom of our long garden and he has never worked as long as weve lived here.
HOWEVER, he has managed to father 2 children over the last few years , (so he is still capable of plenty of this ), he drives a brand new car, has disabled parking and YET we've seen him laying a large patio, build a wall, re-pointing his house (which he cleverly screened the scaffold off from the road side - but we still saw him..... crafty git) among other great diy jobs he has managed to do at our amazement.
Well, he better watch out coz im planning on leaving soon, so I might just go against my principles here and grass him up to the old bill before I go!!!!!!

Jo, I love the sleazy tabloids idea. Gill go for it, stake out and photographs sounds good. I'm sure there could be a poms in oz plug somewhere e.g.

We were reliably informed by Gill, a respected mod from Poms in Oz

MUPPET

GET THIS.

The Vanessa animal is called "Feltz" She is a bottle blonde and got herself into such a such a disastrous state of utter obesity that her doctor Hubby traded her in for a younger, slimmer, fitter model.

Now then, Muppet.

I am a size 10/12 on height of about 5'4". I weigh in at about 8.5 - 9 stone on the scales
depending on which scales and which tiime of the month.

I suggest that you arrange an immediate exercise in figuring out how to say, "Gill. I am so VERY sorry to have insulted you. That was not my intention and I am seriously sorry."

Since you have chosen to insult me publicly, that is the only way to apologise to me as well.

Get on with it, Muppet.

Gill

As a former Benfits Officer who worked on Income Support, I would say unless you report him, how can you expect anything to be done? The other thing I would say is Benefits Officer`s don`t make the rules - we follow the guidance as laid down in the vast series of regulations but of course it far easier to slag us off. It used grip me as much as anyone when people came in wearing designer gear, using top mobile phones and would complain if they didn`t get their money on time. Especially as I was working full time for crap money and unable to afford even half of what they seemed able to. Also another thing to bear in mind is the fact that if he presents a GP cert, then his doctor must have examined him, try shouting at the docs for a change because believe you me they are the ones who seem to take the easy of option of writing out sick certs as a way of getting these people out of their surgeries as quickly as possible. If I had a pound for every time a claimant would be told that they were no longer entitled to Income Support due to the youngest child turning 16 and they should start looking for work, only to have a gp cert turn up a few days later stating stress or depression I would a millionaire. What you also have is a government who is cutting back on Benefits Officer`s (loads of redundancies) on one hand and on the other complaining about state of the benefit system and slagging off the job the Benefits staff do. You can`t chase Benefit fraud if you don`t have the staff to do it. Certainly when I worked in Benefits you had loads of staff off with stress, we had to take our badges off when we left the building as we would be spat at and one member of staff was attacked with a cricket bat and that was in the good old days when you still had the safety glass - a luxury the government had taken away in order to make the customers feel we were more approachable. Sorry Golly but if you are not prepared to report it then don`t complain about it!
