Question How much was your house ?

Hy all,
This may seem a cheeky and nosey question to all you people who have escaped " ALCATRAZ " otherwise known as the UK, but i have been looking at property prices and what you get for your money etc in Brisbane areas on various websites and was wondering if some of you would let all us hopefulls know what we are letting ourselves in for with regards to property prices ?
  • How much was it ?
  • Where was it ?
  • How many rooms ?
If you have any more info that would be great and would ease my mind as i'm sure others.
Cheers

Red face

Hi all,

I have not posted for a while, just sent our meds off a week ago so looking at putting our house up for sale soon, it's defo starting to feel like something is happening now!! We are hoping to be around the Gold Coast area and have flights booked for a visit (3wks) to depart the 23 May. Really interested in the house prices and good area's (need schools as I have kids aged 7 & 2). Our aim is to look at these area's but I really have no clue where to start!! Please help!!

We are hoping that our visa won't be long now, so I think we are aiming to be in Brisbane by October, god that's not long I can feel myself panicking!!!

You think that the process is so long winded, but it comes around quicker that you expect!!
I heard that the house prices were rising all the time in Brisbane/surrounds is that true??

I know we will be buying and building for no more than $200,000..Mind you it does help having people in the know out in Oz....The house will be lowset but with at least 4 beds and ensuite for 2 bedrooms...and we will have a fair size piece of land too:)
I want to go nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Jo,

So who do you need to know to get a price like that?

Perhaps you could introduce me to my new best friend! lol
