I was kind of looking forward to having a day off and driving into Malaga, getting the meds and x-rays done then maybe having a look around the historic center, maybe the Picasso museum... well that was the plan.
10 minutes from our door the portable DVD thing that keeps the kids tame died and no in-car power supply in the case. We arrive in Malaga just in time for rush hour traffic so tension is getting high and rows start (I have the in laws staying so no shortage of things to row about) , so we find a car park and get a cab to the clinic which being in the old town has no elevators and narrow stairs and we have a double buggy (side by side). The kids are getting irritable now and I am noticing that people in the waiting room are not impressed whit their antics.
The 4.5 hours in the doctors room was a nightmare with the kids systematically destroying the place. My examination was extremely through which the ol' cough and drop as well as a good look at my tea towel holder he even rolled back the hoodie.
Then oater that ordeal it was across the road for the blood/urine test witch was pretty uneventfully except this building had NO lift.
Then the x-rays, so across town to another clinic, this time with lifts and quite spacious. The first doctor said he felt a lump in my wife's breast so we was luck that the ray clinic was able to do a mammogram and ultra sound and it was found to be a knot of muscle or something so that was good news.
So now the head back to the car park!!! not only did we forget the level we forgot where the car park was! so after an hour and a half trying all levels on 3 car parks we found the car.
So after a stressful day that left me tired sweaty, irritable and with 10 euros change out of 1000 I had better get this bloody visa
