For those of you that enjoy listening to good classic rock, from the sixties, seventies and eighties mainly, try tuning into WSFM Radio in Sydney. You can simply do a Google search to find their website, then click on "listen live". Your Windows Media Player will play it while you surf the internet.
It's great music, plus you get all the Aussie news etc., so you can almost pretend you are already living in Australia. I'm sure a bit of searching on the net will get you a radio station in the town you are hoping to emigrate to.
You really should tune your Wndows Media Player into this radio station. It's a great way to make you feel like you are in Australia, while you are surfing through the pages of PIO.
Oh! and the music is great as well.
I'm just dragging this thread up from the murky depths of PIO because this radio station is really great, but for any music lovers that want to listen to music whilst you surf the net it's worth a listen. Tuning into any of the Aussie radio stations will give you a flavour of what's going on in the country, you can even keep up with all the Australian news.
There are radio stations broadcasting from all the major cities, so wherever you are hoping to emigrate to, you should find one.

Happy listening,
Eric.
I have radio London permantly tuned inand no adverts for penile dysfunction.
OK so you talked me into it. I logged on and started to listen live to the musuc and chat and then something awful happened, started feeling sick and had a horrible, heavy feeling in my stomach, just like you do before you throw up. Then i realised why...i was listening to Jonathan Coleman (one half of the former Virgin Radio Breakfast Show)...eeeerrrhhh !!!!!
The only funny thing about this guy is that he thinks he's funny !!!!!
...Seriously reconsidering my move now
Music is great tho'
