Perhaps it is in the blood and comes from having an Aussie Mum.. A Mum whom I shall add, used to walk around our home town in Surrey with bare feet (well that is what she used to do over there),.. Used to get funny looks and we were so embarrassed but started to wear shoes after she stood on some glass.. he he!!

Yes it is in quite a few places, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Waitrose. Shame they sell it in such small jars because I get through it so quickly!
seems the aussies are similar to the Americans in that they like their yeast extract like the yanks like their beer (week) . Also its worth noting that there is a product in Australia also called "marmite" so buyer beware.
