We can't believe we have sold our house at last. :D :D The Sold Sign went up today only just sinking in. :shock: As long as there are no problems we are hoping to be in Melbourne by the end of May. We had to validate by June 11th so cutting it fine.

What a relief! We are hoping to be in Melbourne July 2008, seems a long time, but it's not really.
We are going to sell this summer. Probably put house up before 1st June as after this date, you have to provide a Homebuyer's Pack, as if there isn't enough to do when you're moving house.

I'm really thrilled for you and I know your reles are eagerly awaiting your arrival but, without wishing to piddle on anyone's bonfire, you might like to read the horror stories we had selling our house. It is never REALLY sold until the moolah is in the bank.. :roll: Good luck with your plans though.. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed for you though... :D
hi you seem to be in the same boat as us. we have just sold our house and leave the uk on 30th may arriving in brisbane on 4th june. our visas need validating by 13th june so your not the only ones cutting it fine!
