We had our party on Friday, and it was an absolutely brilliant night - and I surprised myself as not a tear was shed!!!!!!! I honestly thought that I would be an emotional wreck but I just enjoyed the night.
We have had the packers in today, and I must admit it all feels very strange. We are not taking any furniture only personal belongings and stuff. Then on Friday, hubby is off. We sold the house on Monday - well hopefully - you never know with the house buying process in this country but just keeping fingers crossed. So, hopefully me and my daughter will be joining him in about 3 months time - our Autumn, their spring/summer!!!!!
Not really looking forward to saying goodbye to my hubby on Friday, but now the house is sold, I know that it shouldn't be too long until I join him!!!! YIPEEEE!!

Great to hear all is going well and house is sold. One question why is hubbie going 3 months before you? If house is sold and furniture is on its way why not you and your daughter go as well?

Darren has had a job offer open since November last year and basically they cannot wait any longer for him - which we totally understand. We decided that although we will be apart for approx 3 months, the job offer is far more important than us going together. So, whilst the house is hopefully going through we will stay back until its actually sold and monies are in the bank.
