Are aussies welcome in England?

Hello all

I'd thought I'd ask this question because 90% of you are from England here!

I know that many aussies go to england, and vice versa... but I get the feeling sometimes that we are not always welcome... i regulary hear jokes about us there and such.
For example, if you bump in to an aussie, is it like "not another aussie" ? Or are we very welcome and you are happy for us to be there?

Is any of this true? Please be honest!

Im not being nasty, im just interested. And you are all welcome here in Aus in my opinion!

Regards,
Jim

From my point of view, very welcome indeed. Even more welcome if you would buy my house in order for me to go there!!!

I've not come across any problems with Aussies being in UK - quite the opposite really,

hi,

The brits LOVE the Aussies. What's not to love!

Can I bounce that question back to you? What do the Aussies think of us Brits? Be honest.

I dont know of any anti-aussie sentiment at all here in the UK.The only thing you'll hear mentioned is "what the hell are you doing here when you could be in Aus".Thats a complement in a round about way

Well I work in an office of only 23 people and one is an Aussie girl who's been here for about 4 years now..can't imagine the place without her. But I think she's mad even so.
