I attended the expo yesterday (29/ 9) and thought it was really helpfull especially the stalls representing the various states. I got some great feedback and several offers of state sponsorship.
Overall i certainly came away a lot more clued up than when i arrived it was also great to chat to other would be immigraters.
It has given me a real boost of enthusiasm to get going with my skills assesment. One interesting point raised by Claire at the western australia stool was that if you can get state sponsorship they will really help you with the visa application pretty much negating the need for an agent.
