AHPRA registration driving me mad!
Hi guys
I am trying to complete my AHPRA registration along with my application for a 457 visa at the same time.
Has anybody else got experience of the form required for general registration with AHPRA?
It states that 100 point proof of id is required and if applying from overseas a passport with an Australian visa is needed.
As I havent got my visa yet, I cant provide this, therefore cant get registered!
My employer wants me out there asap but im stuck until I have fathomed out what to do.
Trying to contact AHPRA is impossible!
Any ideas greatly appreciated.....

Pozz.
There are other ID points you can get. like submitting a copy of your passport. I have visited Australia, and so they also required copies of the pages of the stamp where I last entered and exited Australia. In addition you can apply for a visitor (ETA) visa (check out: Internet Visa Services Australia) and submit a copy of that, it only costs $20 US (not sure what that is in pounds) and your driver's license. Make sure all copies are notarized. good luck!

I got there in the end. AHPRA agreed that overseas applicants could visit their offices on arrival to verify the passport.
Needless to say they issued my registration without seeing it anyway, totally negating their id criteria.

Thanks for letting me know how it turned out, Pozz...lol. why does that not surprise me that they negated their criteria!? Glad you got things sorted.
