Prime Minister Julia Gillard tipped to call election tomorrow with voters to go to polls on August 28

Here was I thinking that Gillard was a smart politician but in my opinion if she calls an election tomorrow she is off her tree,who in their right mind would call an election with allegations that she dudded Kevin Rudd on the front pages of every newspaper.
Surely the smart thing to have done would be to offer Rudd a diplomatic post somewhere,get him out of the way,let the heat die down and call the election for the end of spring.
I reckon going in August may cost her government.

Ohh this will be the first time i vote in Oz,,lets hope the voters make a good choice.

They just had a poll on Channel 9 "Do you trust Julia Gillard"? 25,000 said yes, 55,000 said no! I think the creacks are starting to show in the Labor party machine.
I agree Nigel it will cost her government.
