      Power Tools

Hi, we are finally moving to Perth on the 24th June after a very long wait re visas and selling our home. My husband is a joiner and is a bit unsure as to what power tools are used on site, are they 110 or 240 and also is it worth bringing them with us or buying new when we get there. With regards to Passlode nail guns, are the nails and gas cheap. Many thanks Dee.

its all 240 out there but i'm trying to find out if i can just use my transformer , paslodes ok but a lot of lads use air guns , i reckon its more hassle and you get tangled up all the time but the nails work out a fair bit cheaper plus with air gun you need compressor and generator so more expense plus fuel and noise .

Transformers are not allowed all leads and power tools must be 240 v and plugged into an r c d which is a small 4 way box that plugs into the main power supply and trips out . Id bring paslodes and nail guns as these are just the same as the uk as for your power tools id sell them and with the money you will save not shipping them you may be able to buy new out here
