House rental required from 29th may 2010 ish Brisbane area

      Hi,
We are looking at planning a reccie for May / June next year and are looking for a short term rental of two weeks we hopefully would like to rent a house as we want to do the whole shopping, fending for self thing.
Has anyone stayed in this area and are able to recommend somewere for us or is their someone who can offer a place for rent. The dates are not set in stone yet as I will have to make sure I can book the time off work first.
We are a family 2 adults 2 children

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place...
If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...

Hi, we just came back from a Brisbane reccie. We stayed in a self catering cabin at Brisbane Holiday Village, Eight Mile Plains. Cheaper alternative to renting a house. We are staying there again for a few weeks in Oct 09 when we move permanently. Long term rentals can be sorted out quite quickly so we chose to book again rather than take on house rental for a short period. Costs less...each to there own. Worth a look before you decide.

      Hiya

I also have availability for that time....and if you quote your user name on Pomsinoz when you book then you get a 10% discount....just click on the link below. Tracy how much are the Holiday Village charging? I tried to look on their site but it isn't working properly. I have always found holiday villages to be quite expensive compared to our charges so i would be interested to know.

I just managed to get on and find the rates. They range from $110 to 196 per night......the $110 is only if you book for 4 weeks or more AND that is only for two adults, if you have extra people you pay more - $10 per night for people over 14, $6 for children, unless they are under 3 in which case they are free. All the cabins inly have 2 bedrooms.

Our rates are $105 per night......and then you get a 10% pomsinoz discount......and if you stay a month or more we also have another 5% discount......

Both types of stay have their advantages and disadvantages. BTW, I still couldn't get onto the prices via Internet Explorer - I used Google Chrome and that seemed to work better.

Let me know if you need any more info.
