not silly at all, the first time I flew in a plane, i took off but never landed. I jumped out at 3 thousand feet for a charity parachute jump. :-)

it was a bit scarey but a fanatstic experience, that was over 20 years ago and still waiting to do another one only this time as a tandem jump. will do it in oz now.

Yep!! My dear old mum flew to Australia on her 70th birthday, never been on a 'plane before and the (then) manager of Heathrow airport presented her with a bottle of champagne.

I have only flown to the Falkland islands on an RAF detachment. Not fun and that was a 18 hour flight. Am bit nervous regarding flying to OZ but as long as I am not near a window it should be fine. Don't want to look down at the clouds too much.

Ah Steve, hope we are on the same flight then cos I want a window seat. We can always swop:-). Friend at work told me today that in Syngapore airport you can have a swim and a massage so should break up the journey quite nice dont you think

well we flying on the 2nd April from Heathrow to Singapore. If you can go for a swim at airport then I am all for it. Best not take me speedo's though. Wait til the diet kicks in.

Hi ww, I'm sure I remember reading that Lesley (snow white on here) and her husband + 6 kids (I think!) had never been on a plane before they flew all the way to the Gold Coast!
