Well chance for a HAPPY THREAD ............................

I have been in OZ just short of 2 years, I am 34 years old electrician. Got my elec licence after 7 months then a further year later got my contractors licecence also. My wife gave birth to our son 2months after arriving here and is expecting our 2nd in october this year.

Why I love it here the weather, I live in Cairns Tropical Paradise its HOT all year round pretty much yeah it gets muggy as hell with the humidity 34 degrees feels like 50 when you are on a roof all day with sun screen 5 times a day and 5 to 6 litres of water with it... Honestly I love it , the people are great...

Spending w'ends swimmin in creeks BBQ's with mates on my back patio esky full of beer n rum....................................


Life is great and has not been better, looking forward to the years ahead...........

another success story from a positive person. I know what you mean by working on roofs in the heat, but it is what you look forward too at the end of the day lol
