As someone else mentioned on here can you not set up doing something from home, maybe do some kind of travel site. Have a chat with Nigel he may be able to advise what you would need to do to be qualified to work from home.

Could you maybe do some volunteer work, a lot of people over here do this to make contacts and believe me half of the time it's not what you know but who you know. Good luck
