      Done 'n' dusted...

      Now that Christmas day is over for both those in Australia and those of us in the U.K. I hope that you all had a great Christmas!!!

      I wonder where we'll all be on Christmas day next year... we'll have to just wait and see... hopefully many more of us will be living the dream down under!

      Here's to a fantastic year ahead for everyone!

      Thanks for this site Tim and all the mods who run it so smoothly... it really is a godsend to so many and a really friendly place to be!

      hi , i agree i wonder the same just been waiting for golden ticket, we lodged in 3 dec 08 so its a long wait but you never know, good luckk to everyone who are in same boat, sue ian and clan, :sleepyxmas:

      Best of luck everyone for the new year :) this site is fantastic! I wish we could fast forward 12 months and just preview what's in store for us all :)

      We're having our first Christmas in Oz, very relaxed and warm experience, in every sense. Can't wait for you guys to experience this next year. Good luck to all those currently waiting for their time to come over - 2009 will be a fab year!

      We sat round the dinning table last Xmas wondering if it would be our last in Aberdeen...this year we spend the day on Dicky beach on the Sunshine Coast with stupid grins on our faces. We couldn't believe that we were actually there! We had a great day with our fantastic new friends, the Laws who arrived from Norwich 2 days after us. Barbie, beach, etc. Fantastic day!
      For all you waiting to get here, I hope everything works out for you. And you'll be here before you know it! It feels like only yesterday that we sat round that table in Aberdeen eating a full xmas dinner....the last thing we wanted to do this chrismas!

      reading about the scots in oz makes my stomach ache with wanting, spending xmas day on the beach,BBQing and enjoying the warmth discribes a perfect day . GOOD LUCK TO THEM ,and those of us WHO ARE OVER HERE WANTING
