general advice on oz

HI everyone, seeking advice on oz me and my partner have been talking about moving to oz with our baby daughter and maybe my wifes kids from previous mariage they are 16 and 19. we would like to live in a nice town / suburb but also close to the city.I am a joiner by trade and my wife is a nurse. so any advice for us would be much appreiated

Your wife could apply for the visa as a nurse - you would be included on it. You would have to prove that the 19 year old was dependent (usually if they're in full time education this is enough), to be included on the visa. I'm not sure at what age it stops that you would need permission from the childrens father to take them out of the country - I don't think this would apply to the 19 year old but don't know about the 16 year old.

As Ali said, your wife could be the main visa applicant as a nurse.

The Gold Coast, just south of Brisbane is great for families and housing is considered to be very affordable in Southern Queensland.

Thanks for the info, do you know anybody in the building trade in oz im a joiner and was wondering about the job situation for my trade and do you have any idea why i come up as a junior member when i log on as im far from being a junior,
