What sort of car could I expect to get for aprox $5000, just somthing to tide us over for about 6mths till we get on our feet.

Yeh and we had to ask Sies cousin to tow us home yesterday, soooo embarrasing...he he he, we really do need a new car xx

one thing for sure second hand cars arn't cheap in OZ

We are looking with our son for his first car at about that price, and its not good if you want a little run around. It looks like lots of Aussies are down sizing cos petrol is $1.35 a litre. hahahahah I was paying nearly that in pounds a few months ago.
