just thought I would say hi and to see how your mam was doing now she is in Oz, Do you manage to come over for a visit? We are doing fine and loving it here , just need daughter to settle, she is still thinking about Shetland. We are going to see if there are any avenues we can look into to remain a couple extra years, if not we will go back and return on a tourist one for a year. I would stay but I need to be where my family are, some people can do the big thing and just get on with it but due to my own personal childhood I cannot do that. But who knows she may settle yet we do have another 18 months for things to change.
One thing that has caused me financialy is mozzies and the flu/cold I have had more antibiotics the past 6 months than i have had in a lifetime and has cost me plenty.
Still quite poorly at times with this cold/flu bug which seems to like me so much it keeps on coming back. Anyway enough of that, do hope your well and I still appreciate all the advice you gave me in the past when we were going through the long visa process.

Hopefully your daughter will settle and will want to stay in Oz. Fingers crossed, anyway.

Mum is fine, thanks. She was 88 yesterday so we had quite a chat on the phone. She sounds very happy & well. She is hoping to come to the UK for a visit around Christmas, she says.
