student visa V getting nursing degree??????
hi all, ok need advice plz plz plz
right im am due to start uni in 2 weeks to train to hopefully get my degree in nursing, (which will take 3 years) then get sponsored and head to brisbane with the family. me hubby son will be nearly 15 and daughter 5 (in 3 years). now i know how much more beneficial it would be to stay here and do that and also id love for my mum and dad to see me graduate BUT my god we want to be there now! after coming back from our reccie we just cant shift the emigration blues! dilemma should we consider going over on a student visa my hubby could train to be a bricklayer and as much as i want my nursing career id do something else? bearing in mind we would have 1 kid of school age the credit crunch here right now etc etc. we reckon in a year we would have about 40-50k savings to take?? i know the sensible options is to bide our time but should we take the risk??? i,ll take on board all opinions! thanks for listening xx
