      Hi

The cost of getting your dog over to oz all depends on the breed, size and weight of your dog.

We were quoted £2,700 for everything in Feb of this year and she was only 7 months old then, we are expecting to be paying around £3.5K by the time we go.

She is a labradoodle, but will be worth finding the money to take her as she is part of our family now.

We too are taking our dogs both boxers, and we have been quoted approx £5500 that will also include quarentine and flights from Sydney to Brisbane, but don't be mislead you don't need passports just vet check, microchips and blood tests. They are worth every penny, we are also looking at taking the horse but the is a lot more!!!!

      Hi

My dog is 12 year old and a mongrel, we have had her for 10 years, but she may be 13 by the time we get a visa, what does anyone think about taking a dog of this age is it fairto her, or would it be worse to leave her, dont know if i can be parted from her though.

our two small/medium sized dogs are going to cost us best part of £4000 all in,
i was really worried about them doing the flight, distraught when i realised they had to do quarantine for 30 days and nearly fell over when the quote came, but..... if they cant go then im not going either, they are part of are family and we wouldn't be without them. Im trying to be positive about it and use the quarantine period to know they are fine while we are house hunting.
We also changed where we were going due to them, we orginally thought brisbane but i changed my mind when i heard there is no quarantine kennels there, so melbourne it is then, all due to those fury little beasts. lol
