The loneliness of a long distance emigrater

Sitting here in my empty front room. All our stuff went off in the container at 12.00 noon. Mel's gone to work, Alice has gone next door with her friend and Joshua has gone to the skate park, without his skate board, because he left it in the hallway and they packed it; told him once told him twice.

All went well, Mel's nervous breakdown aside, except we ordered a pool table off ebay, which never turned up. The bloke has stopped answering my emails. So i'm worried he might be ripping me off, does anyone know the procedure to take? We payed through paypal.

Anyway, it's a funny feeling when your stuff is all gone, we move out on monday into a rental until christmas, then we're offski. A glass of red stripe's my only friend now. Next door have invited me over for a Chinese, so i wont be lonely for long.

Blimey, it must be really spooky that all your stuff has gone! That must really bring the Big Move home to you, like a trial run for you before the real thing!!

You should be able to report the pool table guy to Ebay and get your PayPal money back that way...robbing so-and-so.

Hi Darren,

You just need to report it to Paypal via the Dispute Resolution Centre. Providing that you keep the evidence that you've been emailing the seller and he hasn't replied you'll get your money back.

Darren dont you find the whole house echo's now its empty. We have the sofa, tv and electrical good (fridge, freezer toaster and mirowave) still here so its not too bad, but i am not enjoying sleeping on the floor, or poping to the neighbours to borrowing the ironing board, still soon to be in OZ and it will all be a distant memory X PS i had to laugh at the vison of the removal men taking your son's skate board........ours packed my son's mobile !!!! now his girlfriend thinks its all over because he's not answering her text messages.......ahhh young love.x
