Oz Expo

Ive just read a little on the planned expo in London, Oct 08 and was wondering if anyone has ever been to one of these?

If so, did you find it useful? What did you take with you and would you recommend going?

Hi Emma

We went to one last year but to be honest it wasn't really any use to use as it was aimed at people requiring work in Australia.
We are retired and are going on a Contributory Parent Visa so working in Oz wasn't on our list.
We was hoping to find out about housing but not much there really, better looking at the realestate on the web.

If you are looking to working in Oz then I would say go to the Expo as it would be very useful for you.

I have just booked our tickets to the Expo in London, cant see what harm it can do to go & have a look around, im sure there will be agents, banks etc.. there

And Emma.....for us 'obsessed people' (see our other posts on another thread-'Am I obsessed with it all') What more can we ask for than a day out looking, talking & dreaming of Australia, bring it on!!!
