      moving without the expense

I have heard through the grapevine that it is possible and much cheeper to arrange yourself taking your pet (i have a cat) to Oz . I am curious to know if anyone out there has done this and i would appriciate any good or bad feed back. I have had several quotes and the overall cost including the quarantine fees is aprox costing £2000.00 to take out cat. ouch! it is costing us less to get the 3 of us over there!

I would love to know also. We are taking our dog and it's between 3,000 and 5,000 dollars. He is part of our family and we all love him, but what a gouge in the pocket book.

You can save on doing your own paperwork and vet stuff but the cost of crating and flight wont be much cheaper and if you cock up your paper work your pussies are stuffed vulgar pun not intended and vets are vets kerching we used petair for my mutt 2500 but they did the whole kaboodle even coming from dorset to sheffield to do the vetstuff cheaper version wiyh them was 1000 quid ish cheaper but he was with rellies so did not want to put them out
