Hi, Cheap Flights To Ciarns Wanted. Can Anybody Tell Me Of Any Good Internet Sites Where I Might Find Some Cheap Flights. We've Been Looking Around But Can't Find Any For Under £600 One Way For June/july.

Any Ideas???

Try ringing Cathay Pacific, here is an email I received from someone who has just gone one way to cairns.

just provisionally booked my flight with Cathay Pacific..they were very helpful. I have to confirm my visa with green label in it by Friday though (it should be back with me by Thursday)!

If you call 0208 8348888 then ask for prices for Migrant Visa fare they will then request you fax the letter of residency and your passport with visa label to them and you get the 40 kilos plus your hand luggage of 7 kilos..plus one small item such as handbag

You then get good deals..if you fly out on a Friday from mancs or heathrow you don't have to go visa Brisbane from Hong Kong, however I was quoted 3200 more for this flight so am flying Thursday evening (the 10th April..OMG) and you are only at Brisbane airport for one hour before flying on to Cairns (and they transfer luggage)..i figure I will need a leg stretch by then so don't mind...more duty free!!! ha ha.

Hope this helps..flights go quick..if Ihadn't booked mine when I wanted it would have ben gone 2 hours later..best prices and availability seem to be on a Thursday evening flight...at least then you also don't lose any sleep as you do with early morning flights..jet lag is bad enough on its own.
